Interprint at Design Post Cologne from 16 to 19 May 2017
Interprint, the international decor printer, will be presenting selected décor innovations and zeitgeist topics in Cologne in mid-May. The event location is the showroom of Design Post, directly opposite the Koelnmesse exhibition site.
Focusing on the theme of ‘transform’, guests will experience a multifaceted presentation of the omnipresent changes occuring in our society: Interprint has selected elements of transformation and translated them into décors, colours and surfaces. The exhibition is aimed at international trade visitors from the furniture and derived timber product industries, architects, designers and shopfitters.
Décors with Success Potential
In Cologne, Interprint will show six on-focus, trendy décors with great potential for international markets: the ‘Six Pack’ 2017. Three completely different oak interpretations, one chestnut, one walnut and one marble design, each harmonised with the diversity of lifestyles. The visitors can also look forward to seeing further décor innovations. Interprint makes a clear statement for authenticity and materiality with all décors.
Interprint’s new uni-colours with their natural, cosy look form a counter-trend to digitalisation. The colour spectrum ranges from warm naturalness to neutral softness; cooler shades provide balancing contrasts. Even the highly important metallic effects are currently inspired by natural elements. Powdery-matt worlds of colour prevail when it comes to large surfaces.
The entire range of application possibilities: Interprint and its co-operation partners will be presenting décors as a full-service package in Cologne - melamine surface, Xelio finish foil, edge banding, thermoplastic film, and various surface textures. Various haptic effects pay tribute to a growing desire for materiality in melamine and finish foils.
Innovations and Trend Stories
“It goes without saying that the current zeitgeist also has an impact on domestic culture and interior design. At Design Post, we want to inspire the visitors with our décor innovations and trend stories,” said Salvatore Figliuzzi, Director of Marketing & Design at Interprint. “Our guests can look forward to an exciting presentation.” Salvatore Figliuzzi does not want to divulge too much at this stage.
The showroom in the historic building of Design Post Cologne can be reached from the Koelnmesse exhibition site by foot: It is only a two minutes’ walk from the east exit.
