Discovering new trends, finding inspiration in a relaxed environment and directly experiencing the products of our exhibitors: that’s what Design Post is all about.
Our consultants will stay in the background to give you all the time and space you need to explore the products on display for yourself. But, if you need any assistance, our experts will be on hand to help you with qualified advice on any interior design-related questions.
We are often asked why there are no price tags on our furniture. The answer is simple: Design Post is not a shop. Design Post is a space where you’ll find award-winning design. Our products come with prize tags!
Additionally, most of the products in our exhibition are available in so many different designs that it would be impossible to put a single price on them. We think it’s much more charming to talk to you and help you find your perfect piece of furniture.
Our opening times are a little unusual too: we are normally closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Industry professionals who would like to visit us on a Monday or Tuesday should contact us in advance. We will try our utmost to accomodate your visit.
In addition to our regular opening times, there are a number of special events throughout the year with extended opening times. Our newsletter will keep you updated.

The Design Post concept is based on some 30 years of Dutch showroom expertise. Paul van den Berg and Willem van Ast, the Design Post founders and owners, successfully ran the Pakhuis and the Post CS projects in Amsterdam. Another reason why Design Post is so much more than just an exhibition space for rent is that our owners’ main business is the production of the Arco and Montis furniture collections. That’s why we at Design Post know the needs of our users from first hand experience.
Featuring a slightly different concept, Design Post Amsterdam was opened in March 2012, where some of our permanent exhibitors have joined forces in a shared exhibition concept.
Paul van den Berg is the owner of the Dutch furniture company Montis, which has enjoyed international acclaim with its sensational designs since the 1980s.
Willem van Ast, designer and owner of the Dutch furniture company Arco, is a well-known sponsor of young design talent, who has received many design awards.
