Habit | Design Post Köln

Habit was founded in 1971 by Ulrich Lodholz. The first products were the living room landscape consisting of podiums by the designer Tata Ronkholz and furniture from the Bofinger production such as the shelf and cabinet system M125 by Hans Gugelot as well as the bed and an armchair. Later furniture by designers such as Erwin & Estelle Laverne and Rene Herbst were added. Richard Neutra furniture showed habit as the first in Germany. In 1982 habit introduced the woven bistro chair in Germany with great success, which is now back in the program. The Shaker furniture, curated by Shaker Workshops, Massachusetts, USA was distributed with great success.
The current habit collection is manufactured primarily in Germany and Italy.
